Apple iPad Preview

By Irvan Januta

The long awaited Apple tablet is finally revealed. Steve Jobs introduced January 27 in a tense morning for Apple fans and technology worldwide. Now available with specifications and information, it is time to preview and potential IPAD.
First, the design is very spectacular. The facade is the large 9.7-inch LCD screen dominates the LED lights certainly look good. Just below the screen you get the iPhone Home button takes you back to the forefront at all times.
A feature much less for me are black bars on the screen. They are a bit too far for my taste, would have been better if Apple managed to remove the line a little screen and the borders. At the top, you get the sleep button is turned off that screen.
interesting on the right side for the volume buttons and mute button is that the buttons have been moved to the left (iPhone) on the right. On the back you get the Apple logo black large in the middle of a large Grey Zone (aluminum?) Mass says.
iPad also on the back, should be the number of Go and a number of things, the FCC here, I think. It is not impossible that the new iPhone will have a similar endorsements. The tablet. is very thin, in fact, only 0.5 inches thick, the iPhone is as thick as the width and height measurements are 9.6 inches and 7.47 inches.
Let's talk about the IPAD software. Its operation is very much like an iPhone.
Slide to unlock and you're typically on the main screen with icons for the iPhone. You get: App Store YouTube, Mail, Safari, Address Book, iPod, iTunes, video, settings, maps, calendar, photos and notes at the end, but not (Google!).
Applications have been easy for the new building, however, changed. For example, photos are organized in blocks of events. When you press a block of photos shows a preview of the images in this case (or a card-Windows users).
However, you can also see your best memories in the form of a list, location, date or face.
One can imagine that is really fantastic images manipulated on a large screen and show it to your friends.
Another application of Steve Jobs, is largely the Safari application. The browsing experience on the desktop and how they can get in touch and the sides.
And unlike the iPhone web pages are now complete.
The App Store will enable this device to things that Apple could never achieve. You can use all applications on the iPhone in it, or full screen 1:1, the latter being the actual resolution that we are accustomed to your favorites smartphone.
But in addition to running iPhone applications, IPAD also have their own applications. Developers can program for them and realize their full potential.
The things we saw in the speech, including the EA software, as it seemed, but not very impressive. In a few months, some amazing piece of code coming out of the shelf is safe.
I took everything into consideration and draw a small mistake on my part. The first is the IPAD is Flash support? The tablet is the best navigation experience, ever give, but the flash is a big part of the experiment.
Another thing is the hardware. Apart from the case and things are touch screen does not look good on paper.
It has a 1-GHz quad-core processor from Apple, a company that specializes in these chips.
I fear that the A4-processor may not be fast enough for very interesting applications.
Another depressing is the lack of iSight. This thing would be great for conferences and instant messaging, have a missed opportunity there. Other hardware numbers are a mystery. As speed is the graphics chip? And how much memory should work?
And last but not least, I have software problems with my two thumbs up. I think it looks like most of the iPhone software. The iPad would have been much harder if the software allows for some advanced things such as video editing or the ability to access and save files in the Finder window (or cards for Windows users).
Finally. The iPad is incredible and comes with a price of EUR499 sell very well. But as the first iPhone launched IPAD has obvious shortcomings. Not so fast, no webcam and high-quality software functionality without a computer.
That is perhaps one of, if the experience is amazing that Steve Jobs said during his presentation. Knowing that Apple will probably be the case.
